Vertexo sources rolling stock and signaling spares, MRO parts, and technical equivalency parts for rail and metro operators — a capability directly informed by our founding team's hands-on rail and metro engineering background, not just commercial trading experience.
Our rail & transit capability covers rolling stock consumable and wear parts, signaling and communications components, track fittings and hardware, and general MRO parts used in day-to-day metro and rail maintenance operations.
As rolling stock ages, original parts often go on long lead times or become obsolete entirely, which pushes operators toward vendor alternate/equivalent sourcing. This is precisely the sourcing work our engineering background is built for: cross-referencing a wear part or component against its original technical specification — tolerances, materials, performance rating — before proposing a substitute, so any alternate we put forward is one we can defend on the spec, not just the price.
Rail and metro procurement is almost entirely tender and framework-driven, with long vendor qualification cycles and quality standards like ISO/TS 22163 (IRIS) that most suppliers in this space are expected to work toward. As a new entrant, we're realistic about where we sit in that cycle: we're positioning to work alongside certified distributors and OEM-adjacent suppliers on parts sourcing, register with relevant procurement portals, and build a qualified track record over time — rather than claiming credentials we don't yet hold.
